What we offer

We offer a wide range of services and activities so that you can get involved in the way that best suits you.

Staying in Touch

Just some ways that members can keep up to date with the group and stay in touch with each other.

We send our members a quarterly newsletter either by post or email. This contains details of our activities, group developments, M.E. news and research and much more. For an example newsletter click here.

Facebook Group

We have a facebook group where members can keep in touch and have social contact even when they can't get to meetings. This is a private group for members only and can be found here.

Round Robin Email

One of our members co-ordinates a Round Robin email service. This allows members to ask each other questions, send news items, respond to questions and allow us to send out event reminders. etc.

We also have a Twitter account: @BayMEGroup.

Meetings and Activities

Various ways to meet up with other people with M.E.

Organised by local members, these meetings usually take place in a cafe and are a friendly relaxed way of meeting and chatting to other members.

We offer a programme of regular meetings. These may involve a speaker, or a theme such as sharing food, or a workshop such as yoga. All meetings and workshops are designed to meet the needs of people with M.E.

We also run course such as a 5 week Assertiveness course and a Transactional Analysis course. Some of our members also organise on going activities such as an arts and craft group and a dance group. Again these are designed with the needs of people with M.E. in mind

The group is a great starting point for finding out more.
